Michael Lewyn is associate professor at Touro Law Center, and Director of the law school's Institute on Land Use and Sustainable Development Law. Most of Professor Lewyn's scholarship focuses on urban and suburban development, especially issues related to suburban sprawl and housing affordability. In 2017, he wrote Government Intervention and Suburban Sprawl: The Case for Market Urbanism (Palgrave).
